In Sunflower County, organizers brought in a helicopter to aid in the search for a missing Inverness woman. Angelia Yates has been missing almost a week. The mother of three left her home about 8:30 p.m. Saturday. After checking the cell phone records of her last phone calls, authorities have concentrated on the area between Moorhead and Leflore County.
On Friday, law officers were searching along highways and county roads from Moorhead to Itta Bena, including area lakes and streams. A helicopter assisted with the search.
Yates was last seen wearing a lime green T-shirt with the logo of Roy's Store on it, blue jeans and flip-flops. She was driving a gold Oldsmobile Intrigue with the license number WSD 061.
