Angelia Yates, 42, was last seen at her Inverness home about 8:30 p.m. Saturday. Since then, family members have been on edge, wondering and hoping.

Yates was last seen wearing a lime green T-shirt with the logo of Roy's Store on it, blue jeans and flip-flops. She was driving a gold Oldsmobile Intrigue with a license plate number WSD 061.

Helicopters Aid in Search for Missing Woman

In Sunflower County, organizers brought in a helicopter to aid in the search for a missing Inverness woman. Angelia Yates has been missing almost a week. The mother of three left her home about 8:30 p.m. Saturday. After checking the cell phone records of her last phone calls, authorities have concentrated on the area between Moorhead and Leflore County.

On Friday, law officers were searching along highways and county roads from Moorhead to Itta Bena, including area lakes and streams. A helicopter assisted with the search.

Cell Phone Records

Inverness Police Chief Edrick Hall says Yates' cell phone records show Yates was in the Moorhead area when she last used her cell phone.

From checking call records and global positioning technology, authorities believe Yates was somewhere between Moorhead and Leflore County when she disappeared. Volunteers, family members and Sunflower County Emergency Management are involved in the search.
